Lewis Circle House Concerts

About Lewis Circle House Concerts

Hi, we are Nick and Lorrie Holm

a music-loving couple and hosts of a house concert series. Our goal is to bring together talented musicians with an appreciative listening audience. Once a month we welcome nationally known artists to entertain 30 to 35 music lovers in our comfortable suburban Philadelphia home. A local opening act plays three songs and then our headliner performs two sets of their music. Concerts start at 8 p.m. and are over at about 10 p.m.   Please arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m. At intermission we share refreshments, so bring your favorite food or drink to contribute. Our little dog Pete will greet you like family at the door. He doesn't play an instrument but he's very entertaining.

Booking

We are always looking for great musicians and singer-songwriters for our Lewis Circle House Concerts series, held in our smoke-free suburban Philadelphia home.  The concerts are at 8 p.m. one Saturday evening per month starting in September and running through May.  A local opening act plays 3 songs and then our headliner (you?) performs two 30-minute sets with an intermission for snacks.  Bear in mind that we receive many more booking inquiries than we could ever schedule.  Please understand if we politely decline or cannot answer you right away.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where are you located?

Lewis Circle House Concerts is at 3105 Lewis Circle in Hatboro, PA  19040.

What is a house concert?

A house concert is a small live-music concert held in someone's home.  In our case, the concert takes place in our living / family rooms, with refreshments at intermission in our roomy kitchen.

How do I make reservations?

Artists are paid by attendees' donations ($15 per person).  Reservations are requested for each show.  Please email usat reservations@lewiscirclehouseconcerts.com and tell us which show(s) you want to attend and how many tickets you need. That's it!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m.

What about parking?

There is free parking in our cul-de-sac and on the loop road that runs around our neighborhood.  Please pretend that it's your neighborhood when you park.  Just respect the neighbors and all will be well. Those in need of closer parking should email us and we'll clear a space in our driveway for you.

Is the house wheelchair accessible?

The walkway is flush with the driveway but there are two short steps up into the house (one concrete step onto the wide concrete porch, then the threshold step into the house).  We are happy to help those who need it.  The restroom is a small powder room, however, and does not accommodate a wheelchair.

What should I bring?

We encourage attendees to bring a finger food or beverage to share at intermission.  We have plates, cups and ice.  You can bring a still camera but please ask the artist before you use a flash.  Be sure to bring extra cash to buy the artist's CD and a permanent marker so s/he can autograph it for you!  Recording equipment (audio and video) is prohibited.  Ours is a non-smoking house.

What else do I need to know?

You'll be glad you came to a Lewis Circle House Concert!
